Does Marijuana Enhance Spirituality?

Dear Reader,
I hope you are well. Marijuana is a very popular drug because it is perceived to be harmless. In the United States a few states have legalized its use for medicinal purposes, now there is a pushed to legalize it for recreational use.
The video report below reveals that marijuana use is not harmless but it is harmful. Not only is it a gateway drug, meaning it will lead the user to use other drugs like cocaine, ecstasy, meth, etc.; marijuana itself will stop the growth of neuro-receptors. The development of neuro-pathways is crucial for the first 3 decades of life when the brain is still trying to reach full maturity.
If you study which part of the brain is most damaged by marijuana use you will not be surprised that it is the pre-frontal cortex. If you understand that the pre-frontal cortex is where we make moral judgments and communicate with God, then you can answer the question I placed as the title of this entry.
Marijuana does not enhance but demolishes our spirituality by retarding our moral growth and impeding our communion with our Creator. It is a devilish phrase to associate marijuana and recreation, because marijuana extinguishes our relationship with the Creator who is the only one who can re-create us.
The devil knows that marijuana will directly prevent us from being restored, renewed, recreated, broken and repaired. But remember that ifthere is a True Hope for a drug retarded/damaged brain, the only True and Viable Hope is God the Creator because He is the only one Who can Create anew.
We can ask the Creator to heal us completely anew, whether our brains have been damaged by marijuana, hate, selfishness or any single/combined sin/s. King David in Psalms 51 has given us an example of this type of plea, let us ask God for help is my encouragement.
Psalm 51:10-19 (KJV)
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
